Welcome to the (micro) farm..

Hello there! Welcome! Let me grab my cup of coffee and we can head to the deck for a chat…

How's it going?

We’ve been working hard in our little corner of the world to launch ourselves into a farm business that’s a labor of love. Why? Because we love food, and we want it to be a vehicle for nourishment but also kindness and community.

We are just getting started, so join our e-mail list and follow the adventure! We are a self dubbed “micro-farm” raising and selling pasture raised chickens fed organic feed and eggs from our free-range chickens who are supplemented with organic soy-free feed. We rotate our pastures and gardens utilizing the practice of regenerative farming and we evaluate everything through the lens of the most nutrient dense product to consume.

My hope with these farm pointers is to create a vehicle to share our practices and why we do them. For those of you who know us, you know we aren’t trendy, we don’t like fads and we always over-research. Here’s where that comes in handy - we are building our farm not based on any expectation. We have our ultimate farm goal to heal our soils and produce nutrient dense food for the health of our family, community and planet, and we are unabashedly working toward it. We think critically about each choice we are making, and choose ultimately what will accomplish that goal. We tend to not like compromise, so we often work harder to do things without a shortcut that might short our goal. Each of our farm products is a reflection of that practice, and we hope that you follow along or even enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Until next time!

Kate
